New Functionality in SRS 8.3

SRS version 8.3 includes some exciting new functionality as well as improvements in the user interface and support for new platforms. The latest developments continue our aim of bringing intelligent medical search to the desktops of scientists. In the latest version, scientists are able to add their own annotations to entries that become searchable with SRS. Furthermore, SRS now allows email alerts to be added to any favorite search.

Out-of-the box SRS comes with parsers and support for over 80 public domain databases and hundreds of analysis tools, including sequence similarity, alignment analysis, as well as support for the full EMBOSS suite. SRS is fully customizable and site-specific databanks or tools can be easily integrated.
